2019 Event Registration
READ THE FAQs
1. I don't have a team yet, can I register?
To participate in the A-B-C Team Ride event you must be part of a registered team with at least two riders including one team captain, up to four riders in total.
Team captains can register starting January 1 - have your team name ready! Team riders can register starting February 1 and only once their Team Captain has registered the team.
Solo riders can register for the Scavenger Ride event starting February 1. See the Registration page for more info.
2. How do I find a team for the A-B-C Ride?
We have set up a special Facebook page for anyone who is looking for a team for the A-B-C Team Ride. You are responsible for determining and disclosing your own skill level and rider compatibility and deciding on a team member.
3. I think I'm an adventure rider - is this for me?
The weekend is full of things to do from rider training to learning how to change a tire to demo riding in the trails on a BMW GS. For novice teams and solo riders we have added the Saturday Scavenger Ride returning for the second year. Intermediate and experienced riders can opt for the challenging A-B-C Team Ride. If you’re a motocross or enduro star, then it might not be much of a challenge, but if you have a well-sorted aggressive Adventure/dual-sport machine and know how to use it, the options should keep you smiling and the challenges keep you on your toes.
4. Is camping the only on-site accommodation?
All registered riders can camp for free at Adair's. There is limited covered accommodation - cabins and motel rooms - for staff, volunteers, drivers; as such we are focusing on the camping facilities for our riders this year.
There is room for you to park a trailer or RV (dry camping only).
We are continuing to work with Adair's to provide more covered accommodation, please email if you'd like to be on the waiting list should more on-site accommodation become available over the summer.
5. Can I bring my spouse or a guest?
Yes! For the second year, we are offering spectator passes for the duration of the event. The passes are available through Eventbrite and include the 4 regular rally meals, camping, access to demo rides and presentations.
6. Can I bring my own tracking device?
Anyone registered in the rally can use any safety satellite tracking device they choose. Registered Team Captains will receive a pre-programmed SPOT Gen 3 device for mandatory use on the A-B-C Team Ride throughout the Saturday event.
7. What GPS unit should I use?
See the info here on the 2018 Rally info page.
8. I'm in - where do I sign up?
Great! Bookmark the registration page and get your team organized.
